About me!

I'm a lab manager in the Deepest Beliefs Lab (PI: Dr. Kurt Gray) and the Center for the Science of Moral Understanding at The Ohio State University. Previously, I was a lab manager (Well-Being, Health, and Interpersonal Relationships Lab: Dr. Amie M. Gordon) and completed my B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

I am looking to join a graduate program in social psychology & law in Fall 2026.

I'm interested in how insights from psychology can better inform the legal system. I'm currently researching questions like:
  • Does having someone with you when facing an intrusive consent request (like "Can I search your car?") make you less likely to comply? Recently, I presented a flash talk on this at SPSP 2025. The full talk and slides can be found HERE.
  • Does hearing about crime in your area affect how you place blame on victims and perpetrators? I presented a poster on this at SPSP 2025, which can be found HERE.
  • How do people determine whether someone is behaving deceptively, and is their determination of guilt changed when informed by an AI algorithm that judges gait? I presented a poster on this at AP-LS 2025, which can be found HERE.
